"The hotel itself is very nice with a great bathroom and a super comfortable bed. The only thing is that the beach is across the street and it’s currently under construction. This means you have to walk a block to the left or right to access the beach. Once you’re on the beach, the vendors are relentless! You have to rent an umbrella/chairs if you haven’t brought your own and there is no way you can relax without someone bothering you. They are even in the ocean wanting to rent you a boogie board! We only went to the beach once because it was that bad and I’m usually someone who will be on the beach all day every day. This isn’t the hotel’s fault but wanted to make other travelers aware."

"10/10 experience with this hotel from the staff to the location and ambiance of the hotel. I appreciated the location because it allowed us to be walking distance from most of the sight seeing areas. The staff were sooo kind, welcoming and just helpful throughout. The hotel was very clean as well! I’d recommend this stay to everyone looking to stay in Cartagena, you won’t regret it."
