There was a clean and comfortable king-size bed, two sofa chairs, a table, an eating table, a kitchenette stocked with everything needed for two people to prepare meals, including a mini fridge, milk for coffee, a microwave, a hotplate, and a bathroom. Sure, things are a little dated, but the amenities, location, and price, you can’t go wrong! We were just looking for some place to shower, sh*t, sleep, and store our belongings while we went off to explore and experience adventures.

I was most impressed with the hotel staff. They were friendly, very accommodating and handled special requests quickly and without hesitation. We had a really nice stay there and they had two hot tubs and a pool that we took advantage of.
Great experience considering most were not in New Zealand. The attention to detail really shows. Is it a perfect place? No, but they do what they can with what they have. I was very satisfied with the room, staff and everything about the property.
This hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. I loved it! The girl working at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and took time to show me how to operate the free mineral spa and heated pool on the property. The spa was beautiful and relaxing, and my room was very nice. The hotel is also within walking distance to a cool public geothermal park.
Best vacation home ever for large group. We had a group of 10, including three children. House is modern, spacious, and well equipped. The game room was particularly wonderful for the kids. It was well decorated and kept in an immaculate condition. Everything was as advertised. Irene was our contact and she was the most responsive agent I have ever worked with. Always responded right away with helpful information. High recommend.

People in the hotel was very nice. Hotel is located in the town centre. You can go to bus centre, shopping streets, several sightseeing places within 30 min walking distance.
No glass/cup in the washing room probably due to New Zealand custom. We took a glass out of 3 glasses from kitchin. Next day, only 2 cups remain in the kitchin.
