We will return! We visited in October and the resort and staff were amazing. Mr Paris, concierge for building 40 was very attentive and helpful. There was a mix up with the room situation and the manager Beatrice was so accommodating and followed up to make sure the rest of stay was positive. We traveled with two 9 year olds and all of us rated the experience and resort 10/10! I’d recommend it to everyone!

We were looking for a small non-resort hotel on the beach where we could relax peacefully, and Petit Lafitte is exactly that. As soon as we arrived at Lafitte we were welcomed home by the desk staff and concierge. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and made us feel comfortable, and were more than willing to help make our stay a very pleasant one. Beautiful location. Comfortable room, as advertised in pictures. Wonderful community feel. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great snorkeling right off the beach. Only downside was that there was a club nearby that was blasting music at night and we could really feel the bass. Made it hard to fall sleep.

La Pasión is a gem ! It is an older hotel with only 60 rooms , but it is charming. Located fronting the Plaza Municipal, which on Friday-Sunday hosts a market with food and items. Breakfast at adjoining restaurant is available only to guests of the hotel who prepay, and is well worth the price. The restaurant opens later in the day to the public and features mostly Spanish food , not Mexican. 2 small pools in the lush courtyard, and 1 rooftop pool. Stayed at the reef 28 check in was easy room was cleaned and everything worked properly location is great we only got breakfast due to the amount of restaurants around the area would definitely recommend

Came there for a sporting event. Ended up barely leaving the resort. All my needs were met. There was a nice beach, pool, and room. Food was available around the clock. There was even local wildlife on site. I will definitely stay here again.

Property was located a short walk from the town and beach, was a little difficult to find upon arrival. Property was clean, well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful with any enquirers.

It is a place geared towards divers. It's an older crowd. If you're looking for a party place, this ain't it. Yes, there are good times but the diving, right across the street, is where it's at. The staff is absolutely marvelous! Food is good. Grounds are beautiful. I WILL stay there again.

What a wonderful find this was. It has around 25 rooms, nice little pool, a good breakfast (I like juevos, frijoles, and pastries, coffee and juice). We used a dive shop (Mexico Blue Dream) that you could see from the hotel and the beach is at the end of the street. The staff could not have been nicer and our room was comfortable and spotless. I really enjoyed my stay at Posada Sian Kaan. Our stay was in April 2016. I have been traveling to the area for the past 10 years. I wasn’t looking for an extravagant or luxurious hotel. I just wanted a standard nice clean room near the beach, near 5th Avenue, near the ADO bus station, near the ferry to Cozumel and at a decent price. Todo de maravilla, excelente servicio

Our stay was excellent! There’re many restaurant options and fortunately all were available despite COVID restrictions. The kids had a blast in the water park. Beach was private and free of seaweed. Drinks and food unlimited! My kids were frecuente visitors of the coffe shop. Since we visited ruing Christmas time, there were different shows ongoing that we all enjoyed. I definitely recommend stayin at the HR Hotel.

Stayed here for 3 days. The price was great, the breakfast was great, it is walkable to everything in Playa del Carmen. I saw reviews where people complained about the noise and needed ear plugs, I didn’t have any issues. The beds are probably the best beds I have ever slept in! Even my own! The rooftop is really cute, great atmosphere. I didn’t have any issues and would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Traveled with spouse and two children, 9 and 11. Loved all of the wildlife on the resort and the programs available, ie bike tour, eco tour and feeding the rescue animals. We were disappointed the Brazilian steakhouse was closed (wasn’t advertised) and the cenotes were closed for the off season. Also were unaware the water park was closed on Tuesdays. All inclusive resort with amazing park free access. Everyday is fun and adventurous. I would rate this place to be the best family vacation spot in the world. Food is fantastic, the best food I have ever had in my life! Morning yoga class is rejuvenating. Beach is beautiful and the nature of the caves and rivers are breathtaking. Highly recommend to everyone. Don't forget to reserve the restaurants at Xin Gao dinners and Las Cuevas Sunday seafood buffet in advance.
