Not Adults Only

The advertisement as an Adult Only establishment isn’t accurate. The property is shared with family accommodations and the VIP services are far from a top tier experience. The staff was kind , especially Tina— however if you are seeking a higher standard and a true adult only property this isn’t it. The Hyatt has a adult only property with a great pool area— this is must due to the current conditions of the beach. As a result I decided to pay for another hotel experience and found the best beaches at Isla Mujeres. I would recommend accommodations on the island to avoid the sargasso issue. 3 stars based on my experience is generous.

If your handicap such as needing to use cane, wheelchair or not good on uneven suface this resort is not for you. The villas were absolutely beautiful with beautiful ocean view. Some staff are not friendly and hound you to join vacation club we werent even at resort more then 10 minutes before hounding started.

At first they gave us a room not in the adults' area with two beds instead of one, so we had to upgrade and add another $90 per night. The food in the hotel was not tasty at all, including the restaurants. We also asked for a late check-out. The manager at the front desk said that was possible, but for every hour we would have to add $50 per night. I have never heard of such a thing in any hotel in the world. I was disappointed with my vacation.
