This hotel feels like stepping into a wonderland, from the moment you climb the incredibly steep street to get to the front doors. There you find a friendly welcome, a funky room key, and a walk through a beautiful garden to whatever beautiful section of the property you are lucky to be in. I stayed in "Arcadia", aptly named, with the most magnificent balcony and view of the mountains I have ever had. The quirky, relaxed, and chic style is apparent in the fabrics and furniture. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is glorious. Books are everywhere, and a sense of humour prevails - take a closer look at all the pictures and you will know what I mean. The staff are fabulous. I only wished I could have stayed for weeks, not just one night. Oh, and do eat here. The breakfast is divine and included, but do have dinner here, too. The food is delicious, the service impeccable, and the view unparalleled.
