Everything was great. but there was one thing that stood out for me. One of the front desk employees was, in general, seemed suspicious and not trusting of anyone who walked through the door. There was a wait to check in for our room. We did an "initial check in" with one front desk clerk (a man) and were told we'd receive a text when our room was ready. We went off, had lunch, got the text that our room was ready and so we came back to the front desk. We had been given a very small little envelope with a minuscule piece of paper on it - as if this was super official of our checkin in. I had placed it in one of the several pockets of my backpack and when we came back saying we got the text, the desk clerk (different from before, a woman this time) said, "Do you have the envelope?" I couldn't immediately find it. I had been up since 5am, flown that day, was exhausted. And said desk clerk said to her coworker, "She SAID she got a text that her room was ready and that she already checked in." As if I was lying/making the whole thing up. She easily could have just asked me my name, which was the name on the reservation, and seen that our room was ready. Instead, she treated me like I wasn't telling the truth and it was superbly unprofessional and rude. Every time after she was super weird toward me and I was very uncomfortable. i.e. she'd literally start a conversation with me when I was out the door, my back toward her and I was 40 feet away. She needs interpersonal training.
