Great for Older Generations
New York New York is a good place for older generations. Lots of food variety. Be aware this is a bare bones hotel. No refrigerator or coffeemaker in room. Check in was smooth as I joined MGM rewards and was able to get a digital key. Using the digital key I was able to make two extra keys at the kiosk. Very simple and no wait for registration.

The digital checkin is a bit complicated but you did have live help where needed. The room was clean and well kept by the cleaning crew. I would have really appreciated a coffee maker in the room. Availability to food and activity was quite good.

Zero Sleep
Our experience ended up being completely awful. I’ve never submitted a complaint in my life but I have to share this. We stayed in Room 3053 and had a 6 am flight so we needed to get to bed early. We went to bed at 10 pm and for the next 5 hours, the ‘staff’ door next to us slammed shut at least every 5-10 minutes. We could also clearly hear something being dumped (sounded like trash maybe). This was also extremely loud and beyond annoying. Needless to say, neither my daughter or I were able to get any sleep at all. I would greatly appreciate someone explaining why this occurred and why you would ever put anyone in this room. Other than that, everything else about the hotel was great.

New York, New York is the perfect place to stay. Excellent food with a large number of restaurants to chose from. Great location. Fun for a family. Terrific Cirque Du Soleil show. Easy check-in and wonderful service everywhere you went.
