I had checked in last night with my friend, Meraiah, after celebrating a friend’s 21st birthday at the nearby Ameristar Casino. We chose your hotel specifically to ensure a safe place to rest for the night.
However, in the middle of the night, we were abruptly woken up by two unfamiliar men who managed to unlock and open our hotel room door. We were issued two keys upon check-in, so I am alarmed as to how these individuals had access to our room. Fortunately, we had secured the top latch, preventing their entry and avoiding a potentially dangerous situation.
After the incident, I reported this to the front desk, but to my disappointment, the staff member responded with a dismissive attitude, suggesting that this was not a significant concern. I am reaching out because this is a very serious matter, both for my friend’s and my own personal safety, as well as the reputation of your establishment.
