We had many expectations…
Unfortunately it was a bad experience, since de first contact before arrival (I wrote two e-mails and received only one answer).
At the moment of arriving we were treated impolitely, since we arrived at around 1:30 pm, and the gentleman at the front desk limited to say “check in is at 3pm”, we did not received a greeting at all, not even asked under what name the reservation was.
We had to ask to save our luggage in the meantime, since him never offer it.
By the time we were back to check in, it all was the most impersonal and cold we have ever had in a hotel.
Once we get into the room, there was a strong smell as dog, that was fading during our stay.
During our stay, the only kind people we ran into, were one man (a janitor, perhaps), and the lady at the bar, everybody else of the staff was too impersonal to us (it felt like we were ghosts) nobody greet or smile at us.
The room was never cleaned properly during our stay, the bed was just fixed by stretching the blankets, and changing the towel we used, we found a toe-nail from the previous guest in the rug (that means the rug was not properly vacuum), the shower gel was never replaced.
One of the main motives to stay at your hotel was to have a dinner in your restaurant, since the pictures of it are captivating, the next morning we were advised that it was closed, it was much disappointed.
