I returned to this hotel for the second time, expecting to enjoy the same quality of service I experienced during my first stay. Unfortunately, this time was a disaster. A very important bracelet was stolen from my room, and the hotel’s response was completely unacceptable. Instead of taking the situation seriously, they insinuated that I was lying and pretended to investigate, but it was clear they were just trying to placate me. Their sole intention was to calm me down to avoid a scandal or a bad review, as they knew exactly what they were doing. There were no consequences for the person involved. To add to this, their safe was not working, even though I had reported the issue multiple times. When we returned from breakfast, the cleaning staff was still in our room, and there were two €5 bills together on the table that the staff member noticed, telling me I had forgotten them there. Later, when I filed my complaint, he supposedly told the manager that he found the money under the bed, trying to distance himself from it and portray himself as someone decent. When we realized that my bracelet had disappeared, knowing that it had always been placed in the same spot, we also noticed that my friend’s bag had been opened. Luckily for them, we didn’t know exactly how much money was inside, which prevented an even worse situation. Fortunately, not all people are bad, and some employees couldn’t believe what was happening…
