I stayed here last week and it was really nice so decided to stay again. This time the stay was very unenjoyable and I will not be staying again. At 10.30pm we were trying to bath our 2 under 2s, but there was no hot water. We called reception and they sent a man up to look, after 5 minutes he could also not get hot water, so I said if you can’t get hot water after 5 minutes just move us room, the kids need a bath and bed (they were both screaming at this point). He was not listening and still playing with the taps. I called reception and spoke to the night time duty manager to log a complaint. He repeatedly refused to log my complaint and argued with me. He had no level of customer service. He kept repeating what he had tried to do to fix the problem rather than admitting there was a problem and logging my complaint. He also becomes part of my complaint as he was so frustrating to talk to. We couldn’t fit our double buggy through the bedroom door (it fits through standard doorways) because the inside wardrobe was blocking it.Overall, the stay wasn’t great at all, but the managers attitude is the main reason I won’t be staying again, when you are making an honest complaint, the last thing you want to hear is, well it’s not the hotels fault, it depends on how many people use the hot water and if lots of people use it , it goes cold. I did not chose to stay in a 4* hotel to deal with a rude manager and have a cold bath. Had to argue for 10mins before being offered a room change
