I have always been happy with the Hampton Inn brand but this is by far the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel clearly hasn’t been updated since it was built; dated design can easily be overlooked but the peeling paint, large cracks in the ceiling and the horrible condition of the shower were simply unacceptable. The shower had peeling caulking, mold in multiple places and looked dingy. My 13 year-old son put a towel down to stand in while showering so his feet wouldn’t touch the tub. To top it off, there was what was clearly public hair in one of the washcloths and we also found some hairs on the sheets after turning down the beds. The TV didn’t work and wouldn’t even turn on. Had it not been almost midnight after a 14 hour car ride and having a funeral to attend early the next morning, I’d have refused to stay and gone elsewhere. Overall, this hotel does a major disservice to the Hampton Inn brand.

Front desk clerk was nice and friendly. Room clean and great bed. Ice machine on my floor was out of order both days. Then they ran out of regular coffee packs for the room. Said it was on backorder. How can this be? Totally unacceptable!
The staff was the best part of my stay. They were friendly and helpful but the rooms are terrible. Carpet and furniture must go...it looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's. The bathroom was terrible too a shower head in a Jacuzzi from the 80's. I get that there is a pandemic but they seriously need to update. I wouldn't stay there again.
