We were fooled by the online pictures. This hotel portraits itself as a quaint mountain lodge and is nothing but. This hotel should have been remodeled (or closed) years ago. The environment is poor, looks shabby, and is absolutely old, very old. The most updated feature probably is the room electronic key entry system. Room is dark, bathroom is minuscule, microwave oven is as old as the first ones released. There was a layer of dust underneath the microwave oven - disgusting.
Also, between 8 PM and 10-ish AM you are on your own. There is no resident staff, front door is unlocked and good luck with security. There are few rooms, but the restaurant is packed as they host events. On Bingo Night we had to eat at the lounge area, as the restaurant was packed with local residents (probably) - quite a noisy crowd. There is no cleaning crew, they only clean the rooms when you leave. Breakfast is set the night before - frozen sandwiches, cereal, some fruit, juices. Nobody there to replenish if necessary, and after 8 AM almost everything is gone. And, of course, there was nobody there.
One of our keys to our room did no work, so the bartender had to call someone to help fix the key on one of the evenings. Besides, there is construction/remodeling happening around the hotel (instead of inside) - very noisy during the day.
No air-conditioning nor heater. Heat comes from a fireplace inside the room. Granted, last night there was smoke smell everywhere. Mattresses are old...
