The overall score from me will be 3.5. I spent two nights at a junior suite, the view and decor are nice. But at the same time, you could’ve pick a luxurious hotel at a similar price. Yes, Hard Rock fits its name, but its a distance away from luxurious. The most disappointing things that have happened to me during my stay is the service. The daily maid refused me at first for a request for new beddings. Although she did change the beddings, she still insisted it was the hotel rule to change beddings only once per 3 days. The guitar service is pretty cool and one of the best things they have to offer. A 3,000 CNY deposit is required during your usage of any instrument. Although the retrieving part wasn’t so pleasant. I had to wait for an extra 20 mins to wait for the concierge to pick it up. Yes, I had to, as they don’t allow guests to bring down the instruments by themselves. Without any notice, the restaurant refused my room service order without noticing me. I waited for 40 mins only to find they were unavailable for the night, as they were occupied by the Halloween parties. They could have told me 40 mins earlier when I placed my order! I had to stay hungry for another 30 mins to get my MCD delivery. I had a burger from room service the night before and it was average. So good for a hungry man but maybe not so close to one of those top-rated burgers. Speaking of burgers, it’s a shame that the hotel doesn’t come with a Hard Rock Cafe.
