Hotel was as good as a 3-star, budget-friendly hotel as it gets. I've found myself staying in more Drury's the last 3 years with my family because of the consistent positive experience mostly due to the breakfast and social kick back hours, and the friendly service.
This particular location was one of the nicest Drurys we've stayed in. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and professional, the location was excellent (could walk to places if need be), and the parking garage (although it costs a bit) was extremely secure. We utilized the pool and hot tub which were both nice...and the gym.
We did have one rather big issue...the water went out for several hours and affected a section of the hotel, including our room...so we couldn't use the shower or restrooms. Naturally, this would be upsetting, although it wasn't at the fault of the hotel...more the city. Things happen...so I tend to focus on the response rather than the happening. The manager and staff moved our room to a room with working water, and credited us back a portion of the cost. That was very appreciated for the inconvenience. Im understanding that Drury simply does good business and does right by it's customers. I will happily patronize this location, and probably all locations continuously.
