I will say that the unit itself was beautiful, clean, and spacious for my family. However, for the amount of money that we paid to stay in the Phoenix II Wed-Sun, I was disappointed in the overall condition of the building that was noisy with construction plus we had to pay an extra $55 for parking. We were placed on the first floor, which automatically meant that we had to go up and down the stairs everytime we needed to leave or return to the unit instead of having elevator access. This means that after an 8.5 hour drive, we had to drag our bags upstairs without a cart or elevator usage. Carts are not allowed on the first floor and there's no way to get it upstairs without the elevator. Our view consisted of caution tape surrounding our closed pool area, which required us to walk to the adjacent Phoenix hotels if we wanted to swim. In addition, we missed a night of using our own balcony because someone was smoking despite the no smoking signs and we did not want to be exposed to the smoke. Also, unlike other hotels, when we requested additional towels, we were told to wash them instead of receiving fresh ones. There was also a roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We were told to purchase extra ourselves. These are basic necessities that are usually provided by any other hotel, but not this one. We would've loved to discuss this with someone at our front desk, but our hotel did not come with an in-person front desk receptionist. I'll be booking another hotel next time.
