My stay was already off to a bad start due to an apparent over-charging and poor/slow response by Hotels.com. And a delayed inbound flight (not the responsibility of the hotel) but did mean we missed the afternoon tea on arrival which was part of the package.
We selected a significantly more expensive Junior Suite option to ensure sufficient space in the room for the family, and to access the package benefits, including club access, buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapes. were allocated a room.
However, we were allocated a room much smaller than expected, according to the photographs! Considering it was specifically booked for 3 persons, it is thought this could have been better taken into account! To he fair, upon request the next morning, the hotel did change us to a much larger room as per expectations!
On the 2nd evening we were badly let down by the lack of attention and service in the club for cocktails and canapes. We were effectively ignored and had to walk out as we wanted to attend the Marina Bay lightshow at 8:45pm.
Overall, a nice hotel in excellent location, but comes with high expectations according to their pricing.
I felt my wife was disappointed by the experience, which is a great pity as it was our 28th wedding anniversary, and this was supposed to be a treat!
