Four things made this stay disappointing:
1. Broken toilet. Beware, Rm. 320. After checking in, we realized the toilet wasn't properly working. After the first flush, we could see that the handle wasn't coming back up, and the noise from the water tank wasn't stopping. My husband tried to adjust the parts in the water tank, but nothing worked other than to manually force the handle back up. We asked for a new room and got one. Which led to #2 ...
2. Dirty. The first thing we did was flush the toilet, which worked. However, the toilet seat looked dirty (it was just old and scratched and should have been replaced ages ago), and there was some questionable substance on the seat. I wiped it off (gross), and also realized the upper inside rim of the toilet bowl was dirty. It definitely needed a deep cleaning. Beware: Room 211.
3. Outdated and old facilities
- The hairdryer unit was broken and hanging by a thread.
- The faucet may have been missing a part in the aerator. Water spouted out, resulting in water getting onto the sink top each time.
- The half wall that divides the bed area from the couch. The top of it was stripped off, making it unsightly.
4. The fitness center doesn't open until 10AM—you can only get to it by going through the pool area, which was locked. Such a late open is ridiculous, and I ended up not even using it.
This is my first ever review. I travel a lot and have stayed in numerous hotels; never felt the urge to leave a review until this stay.
