We fell in love with Comfort Inn several years ago and thought the Quality Inn is in the Choice Hotel family, so we will stay here, instead of driving longer to find a Comfort Inn. HUGE mistake. The room was as if someone had lived in it and never got cleaned. Toilet had pee all over it, floor had black hair all over it, microwave had something spilled in it, fridge had crumbs in it, counters were filthy, something splashed on the wall. They wouldn’t answer the phone, so I went down and told them to give me some cleaning wipes, and I would clean it myself. It took me a good 45 minutes to clean. I cleaned the doorknobs, light switches, window sills, air conditioners, in addition to the appliances, bathroom, floor, wall, tables and sinks. The only thing I didn’t do was the carpet, so we made sure to keep our shoes on.The lotion was also used already. I was so tired and just wanted to sleep, so I didn’t even think to take pictures before I cleaned or I might have been able to get a refund. The night clerk gave me a brand new container of cleaning wipes, and I gave them back with less than half left in the large container. On top of that, I got on Hotels.com to get a cheaper rate. They charged me one price and the hotel clerk said it would have been a lot less,if I had gone straight through the hotel. So twice we got hit. Hotels.com tried to get me a refund, but since the hotel wouldn’t answer the phone, they said sorry, no refund. So, we were hit three times on this
