There’s a huge amount that is positive about this hotel -
Staff are friendly
The decor is modern and sleek
Shower was really nice
Toiletries are lovely & smell beautiful
Communal area is great and the access to regular drinks and snacks was really handy. Would be if you were a group with more than one room as it’s a handy place to meet up or if you just like company.
Location is great, short walk to local attractions. It’s on a main street but I didn’t find noise an issue.
This hotel makes very clear efforts to be eco friendly which they execute well.
The hotel was very clean.
The hotel was quiet, no noise issues at all.
General feedback -
The corridors felt really dark. It’s clear that this is partially due to the lighting being used in an eco friendly way, which is very welcome, but the wall paint being light, versus dark grey, would definitely help.
The room I was in (245) felt really dark in parts, even during the day. I think this is just a combo of the lighting and where the window is.
The bed and pillows were really soft.
The shower is viewable from the bed. I was travelling solo, so didn’t find this an issue, but it may be less practical for some. To be fair, you could easily go and hang out in the communal area if you wanted to give your travel mate some privacy.
Overall, this hotel is a great pick if you are staying in Lille. I probably wouldn’t stay again as I prefer a lighter, airy feel but I’m sure it would be a great option for most.
