The Wylie Hotel in Atlanta was chosen due to its proximity to the Eastern concert venue. Neither my wife nor I had any knowledge or experience with the Wylie.
Arriving for our stay, we were warmly greeted by the front desk attendants, who checked us in. They gave us a description of the property's amenities and made recommendations for sites to see around the area.
Parking at the Wylie is non-existent. If you arrive with a vehicle, you must surrender it to the valet staff. Pulling into the property is very tricky, and we had multiple problems with this setup. Then they charge an additional 48.00/day for the privilege of using their valet service. If I have any complaint about the Wylie, it is the parking/valet issue. A modern, top-flight travel destination of this caliber and cost should have a better parking setup.
At any rate, the room, bed, and amenities were very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but with the parking/valet caveat.
