I’ve stayed at this hotel for work trips since its opening, but my latest stay was an absolute disaster. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the minibar hadn’t been replenished. To avoid being charged for something I didn’t use, I took photos and kindly showed them to the receptionist, who assured me I wouldn’t be billed. Despite this, I was later hit with an outrageous $460 charge for minibar items I never touched. It has been taking ages to resolve this, and the staff have been completely unhelpful. I should also add that I only stayed for one night.
What made things even worse was that two of my keepsake necklaces, one gold and one diamond, went missing from my room. I reported this multiple times over several days, but no one took my concerns seriously, and I never received any follow-up or help. It was as though the staff couldn’t care less about the situation. For a hotel I’ve been loyally staying at for years, this level of indifference and lack of care is shocking.
The minibar charge is excusable and can be resolved, but my missing necklaces are why I’m done with this place. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere that actually values its guests.
