The problem with this reservation was that I booked for 4 nights. For some reason, the booking at the hotel was for 1 night, and then I would need to check-in again and change rooms for the remaining nights. I was told, I owed an additional fee upon the check-in of the first night.
When I contacted Hotels.com support, they were no help in resolving the issue. So I paid twice for my reservation through Hotels.com - for a 4 night stay, with an additional booking fee when I checked-in due to how the reservation was made, and I was not informed of the additional charges before hand.
I'm not satisfied with how Hotels.com handled the discrepancy, and will be filing a complaint. This is not fair to the consumer of your service, and seems there is a disconnect when booking accommodations.
