The staff at reception was unfriendly and unhelpful. It almost seems as if they don't want to be there. I was also charged in advance with the value of one night for securing my reservation (which was not stated when I booked). At checkout, that charge was not taken into account by the receptionist so I ended up paying double for one night. The receptionist said it was not a charge but a "provision" and that it would be cleared immediately afterwards. That "provision" is still in my account and has not been cleared. More than the money, it was the unhelpful attitude of the receptionist. Also at check in I was not informed that the breakfast was not included -so I had to pay when settling my bill-. Again, I would have mostly likely had taken it anyway, but it was the sense of lack of transparency, what left me with a bad taste.
On the plus side...the hotel is nice in a relatively quiet area -other than the constant noise from the planes, but hey, this is an airport hotel-. Very convenient for accesing Schiphol airport. Good food at the restaurant and the restaurant and bar staff were very friendly.
