I booked 2 rooms because of a family event in Mesquite. On the 2nd day another family member flew in from New York and arrived very late because his flight was delayed. I added a booking at hotels.com but i was so tired and mistakenly booked for the wrong date(6/18) When i realized this, i went to the desk and booked a room directly- i was advised that i can change the date on the app, or delete and rebook again. But when the clerk looked for it she could not find it. To make it easier, and so we can get some rest, i went ahead and paid for the room on the spot. She said if I went to the website for the third party, i should be able to get a credit or refund.
I contacted hotels.com but have not heard a response,
In addition, my cousin’s room (126) had roaches and we asked her to be moved. She has phobia with bugs and was deeply traumatized by the experience. My room (123) was fine except it was adjacent to their ballroom and they have an event that was playing loud music, blasting microphones that it was not a restful Saturday night at all. I sufferedmigraine from it the next day. The third room I booked for the 6th on the spot was room 205. Nice clerks.Ican forgo the noise and the headache and the roaches because they did move my cousin, but all I ask is to be refunded for the extra room I booked online late at night on 6/6. Also I wanted to make you aware that they charged me $300 extra on the spot. $100 for each room as security deposit. It was overall NOT a good stay.
