Full disclosure -- I had a very lovely 1 night stay here with my mother. The hotel is very clean, the staff is obliging and helpful, and even on the first floor, we had a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. With that said, I'm not sure where the photos for the listing were taken, but they certainly were not of the room we stayed in -- it appears they have a few other wings, suites, and meeting spaces as well. Our hotel room was a 2x queen bed suite, and surely had its heyday in the early 90s. The terracotta lamps, tile counters, and distressed wood window feature took us on a nostalgia trip. Although very dated, I miss the older layouts -- there was practically a walk-in closet in the sink / vanity alcove which made getting ready in the morning hassle-free. The only areas for which I'm taking off points are in "expectations vs. reality," so to speak -- what you see online is not exactly what we got.
