The thing to be clear is that this is basically a boarding house. Hotels.com says some of the bathrooms are "shared." I took that to mean two rooms share a bathroom; but no, it means there are a couple toilets and showers in the middle of the hallway which all these rooms share. It's kind of nasty, and on my floor neither worked when I first arrived.
Having said that, the staff were all wonderful. And when I pointed out the problem, they immediately moved me to another floor.
The location is great if you want to be near the theater and Soho. The bed was fine, which given the condition of everything else was actually a really nice surprise. There's no tea or coffee provided; there's really nothing provided. (Don't believe them about the wifi. It was absolutely non-existent.)
I was there four days and they never once changed the sheets or towels, which was weird, and again, kind of nasty.
But again, if you're just looking for a cheap place to crash for a few days, it's fine.
