This was th worst hotel stay I ever experienced. The hotel was being renovated and should have not offered rooms during the renovation. We were only told of the renovation days before our arrival and since it was graduation weekend, it was impossible to find another suitable hotel. The lobby was completely torn apart and instead of a free full breakfast, we were offered a breakfast to- go which consisted of a microwaved breakfast sandwich, two mini muffins, an apple, and a bottle of water. I had to wade through construction just to get a cup of coffee every morning which was never stocked properly. Every morning we were woken by Jack hammers removing the old flooring. The room itself was bad. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the carpet was badly stained and the pullout sofa was not usable and my grandson had to sleep on the sofa. My daughter was supposed to stay at the same hotel but as soon as she walked in, she felt sick from the smell of the old tile adhesive. She ended up cancelling and had to stay with relatives. Unfortunately, we had nowhere else to stay. I really think they should have offered a substantial discount because of the situation. Just another example of corporate greed.
