Not sure where to start. I usually try to stay with the positive. So, communication with staff is actually really good. Location of place is really good if you like nightlife. Steps from the action. Now to the more important items. So as much as staff tried I had no hot water for the majority of my stay. It got fixed at the end of the 9 nights. there is a lot of construction going on, and I am sure that is a big part of it. If you don't mind noise and can sleep with it, you will be fine, but if noise is an issue, this would be a hard stop for you. Next, there are no safes in the rooms, and that is usually a big no no, especially in Medellin. Well it bit me good. There was no unaccompanied people in my room while i was in it. But in a pocket where i keep other currency while in that country. My stack of USA money only vanished. I have a certain place I always leave my money when in foreign places and swap back when i leave. Well the US dollars were gone. Again, I was always in the room if another person was there, yet I had money missing. This bag is always in my sight unless I am out of the room. And is in a pocket that would require time to find. So, the no safe rule, It was maybe 300 US and stays in that spot until I am leaving for the airport. Fortunately, they kept it to the US money that was stolen, not my watch or passport etc... but then it would be to obvious as well.
