Great Stay at Aloft Henderson – 4 Stars
I stayed here for three nights on a solo work trip and overall really liked the place. The vibe is exactly what I expect from Aloft: modern, upbeat, a little trendy without trying too hard. Clean lines, good lighting, comfortable bed, and the staff were friendly and on point from check-in to check-out.
Room was spacious, the bed was excellent (I slept like a rock), fridge worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The lobby bar is solid, the gym is small but has what you need, and the location is convenient if you’re in the Henderson/Las Vegas area without wanting to be right on the Strip.
The one thing that keeps it from a full 5 stars for me is the open shower concept. The shower is literally in the bedroom area (frosted glass but still very exposed). Since I was traveling alone it was no big deal—actually felt kind of cool—but if I’d been sharing the room with a friend, colleague, or anyone I’m not dating, it would have been awkward as hell. That layout is clearly a design choice, not a flaw, but it’s definitely something to know going in.
If you’re staying solo or with a partner, you’ll probably love it. If you’re splitting a room with someone you’re not that comfortable changing in front of, you might want to look at a different property or request a room with a more traditional bathroom setup (if they even have those).
Would I stay again by myself? Absolutely. Solid 4/5.
