Disappointing
Upon first viewing the apartment seemed to a high standard. Smeg appliances and well decorated.
However the bed and bedding was of an extremely poor standard, any slight movement resulted in the bed squeaking, the pillows and bed sheets also felt like plastic and it was very difficult to get to sleep.
I was unfortunate enough to stay here during the recent electric outage where the apartment was without electric for 11hrs.
Unfortunately the main building door uses an electric keypad. The solution to this seemed to be someone left the main door propped open with a mat.
This enable myself and potentially any one else from the street to access the building, causing security concerns.
The apartment door also worked via a smart lock which fortunately had a back up battery but left us worrying whether that too could fail and we’d be locked out.
I tried to contact the property owner to ask what happens if someone accidentally closes the main door and we cant get in due to the electric being out. However they were unresponsive until after the power came back on but their reply was, as long as the electric was on I’d be able to get in the apartment (not very useful during an electric blackout).
Emergency stairwell lighting did not work, the stairwell was in complete darkness, this is a major safety concern.
