I have lived 24 years of my professional life all through 5 to 7 star hotels through out the world some for quite long stays running to months and some weeks.
But, when it comes to India I purely shift the blame to the government having discouraging attitudes to the poor infrastructure development, poor standards, and highly overtaxed sector where in the Hotel is considered a luxury, the property owners have hardly money left behind after tax for the proper development of the property. India should wake up and think of promoting staycations lower taxes and increase volume of consumption from its own population and allow the property owners to re-invest into property. 30yrs I have seen government only milking the business seldom facilitating anything in this industry !
Having said, all that and the present COVID conditions, zeal for survival and to continue the business, gets all my respect.
All services were exceptional, polite, quick and the rooms and linens were clean. Almost all staff were very polite and well behaved and had masks on during these times. Above all great view from the room of the sea.
My room had few kinks but, it might have just happened my bad luck (the maintenance just need to be a little more observant)
