I was really excited about this 2 bedroom place, well located to stay with my husband and 2 kids, but it was a rough 2 nights. We were in units C/D, the ones with the wood paneling and fireplace.
In the first bedroom, the door to the outside has a window with a very light white curtain, meaning the room does not get dark, a problem at night with kids and for us in the morning.
Above that door is a VERY VERY bright red EXIT sign, which lights up your room keeping it even brighter.
The bed is metal and very creaky every time you turn.
The bathroom is a great size, but not a single inch of counter space or a table or a shelf…we had to move a small side table from the other bedroom to put our toiletries.
The toilet paper holder is falling off the wall and the roll keeps falling.
Also, there were all the cleaning supplies just out on the hallway, not in a closet somewhere…not great with a 2yo that gets into everything.
The house is nice from the outside, but definitely very old and creaks every time you walk, and the walls/ceilings are made of paper. We could hear the loud tv from the below neighbors and the creaking of walking above us.
The porch is nice but could definitely use a good wash, just felt so dirty with bugs and webs.
The pictures of the other units look much more modern and updated…
The kitchen was nice and updated, the other bathroom had a normal counter. Other bedroom was ok with a remote controlled AC unit.
I expected more of a hotel feel than a home…
