I was in town for a new student orientation at UGA with my son. We stayed 2 nights.
The front desk staff was friendly. My reasons for a 4 star instead of 5 may not be an issue for others.
1. Floors were not very clean. They looked like they had been swept, but my socks got pretty dirty when I walked in my socks. Usually, I have Crocs, but I forgot them for this trip. Everything else seemed clean.
2. We could hear EVERY sound in the hallway. Thankfully the hallway traffic quieted down around 11 so we could sleep. I did not hear the neighboring rooms or the floor above us.
3. They don't have individual complementary shampoo, conditioner, etc. They have a store-size bottle attached to the walls. Not a fan. Thankfully, I remembered my own, but we had to run to Target for my son.
The complementary breakfast was good and typical of hotel breakfasts. The woman putting out the breakfast items was very friendly.
We stayed at another hotel across the street (next to Longhorn) and the Hampton Inn was a better experience.
We will return when visiting our UGA student.
