The location is excellent, right on the beach! Hotel is clean. The staff at front desk were very helpful. However, the staff (short blond women and the tall/skinny guy) in the dinning room were in the combat mode rather in the service mode. We brought the breakfast and dinner package via Expedia, but no one mentioned to us any drink wasn’t part of the package although it’s the buffet. They neither presented the list of the drinks nor asked English speaking staff for help, instead speaking Spanish so loudly in the dinning room and I was literally asked if we had money, in English. NOT ACCEPTABLE. To put things in perspective, since we don’t drink, the cost for the drinks were about 5 Euro, like the cost to one ice cream. This were on for 3 dinners out 5. They need to be retrained. Clearly, there was a language barrier, but more importantly it was the attitude, as we travel around the world, language barrier becomes much less issue nowadays.
