Booked a twin room only to find out we’d been given a double. Reception then told us there were no other rooms available, the hotel is very big and didn’t seem particularly busy. I reminded them that this is their error and that they’d failed to meet their obligation, this is no fault of our own. We were then given 2 singles as compensation for their error. No mention of additional costs at this point or at check out. I’ve since returned home to an email asking for an extra 344 euro!! This is appalling service and very devious too. Had they mentioned extra costs I would’ve asked for a full refund and went elsewhere. Pathetic from such a big hotel chain, they’ve lost my trust now, I’ll never use them again.
