Bad Neighborhood, Unhinged Male Guest
I do not recommend Hostel 22. It's located in a very dirty neighborhood close to Skid Row. I did not feel safe walking around there at night. When I checked in, the lady of the house put me in a rm w/a bathroom that had no toilet paper, garbage can or hand soap. Shower rod was in the bathtub. There was no toilet paper in any of the other rms & no dishwashing soap in the kitchen. The house was clean at least until three guys moved in. They leave dirty dishes/pots overnight & don't wipe down the stove after using it. One disturbed guy named Trevor is too busy watching the TV in the common area all day & night to clean up. He also vapes in the house, blasts the TV after quiet hours, left a large, dead bug in front of my room, left the stove on when he left the house, left broken glass on the fl, among other things & the lady of the house lets him do whatever he wants. Also, some of the guests staying in the back of the property can get pretty noisy. I can see why this place has so many empty beds. You have been warned!
