The staff was beyond great and they knew English quite well. They were extremely helpful throughout the stay.
The hotel is quite clean and the daily breakfast was very nice. It's not a big buffet, but it's enough to get your day started (eggs, rice, toast, butter, jam, buns, tea, water & juice).
Compared to a hotel I used to stay at before, the rooms here are extremely clean to the point that I don't even see dust in the air when opening the window blinds in the morning. The in-room air conditioning unit filters air as well, in addition to providing both cold and hot air, depending on your preference.
The Kinshicho JR station has a Yokusuka rapid line so you can reach Tokyo station in the least amount of time and not need to switch platforms & JR lines in Akihabara. That's very useful when having lots of luggage. The JR station is a 4 minute walk from the hotel.
3 major supermarket chains are right below the hotel: Sunkus, Lawson & 7-11. You'll find almost anything you need there.
Unfortunately, the windows aren't sound-proof and the hotel is near some pubs, so around 11 pm you can hear people yelling or cheering, mostly drunks. Drunk people there are harmless. There are some prostitutes around outside the JR station, but they only approach single men. Families & women don't need to worry.
The single rooms are small. Didn't see the larger ones, if any. 1 room fits 1 person only.
Overall, the area is quite safe and apart from the noise at night, the hotel was excellent.
