Very well located hotel, next to Grands Hommes and Gambetta and a short stroll to Pet-Berland. It's god a nice "period” feeling to it, like you are really staying in an old castle tower. Continental breakfast, although a bit pricey at 14 euros, is quite adequate.
Unfortunately it is not just the building that is old but also the room: it looked small and tired, drain in the shower was very slow, safe deposit box was not working, wardrobe space was minimal, and we had 3 towels of any kind for 2 people. In fairness, we did not bring this up with the reception - except for the safe box, and that they could not help us with.
Overall, I'd say it is more 2-star than 3-star, and if you don't plan on spending much time in the hotel, then it's a decent place for the price. But if it is modern and functional that you are after, look elsewhere.
