Being two times in a row in the same hotel tells enough. The hotel is nice, a little outdated, relatively close to the beach (no crossing the main road). The hotel staff is nice and reachable. When I complained about two small issues in the room the repairman fixed them within 2 hours since the complaint has been made (while we were out for diner).
The hotel is approx. 500-600m away from the village centre which makes it very quiet. The nearest hotel beach area (Whites Beach) is wider and generally better than the Hanioti beach.
Note, however, that this beach is not operated by the hotel management. We were very disappointed this year by the obvious discrimination of hotel customers over the locals and management's friends in terms of umbrella reservations. All 30 front row umbrellas were always reserved on Greek's names all the time. Different Greek families would come and go under these umbrellas, but when hotel customers tried to get them they were rudely rejected.
Also, don't be fooled by internet-on-the-beach, since this internet is so weak and hard to connect that you should not try to loose time on it. Nowadays, providing internet even on the beach is a must and this beach only declaratively has it. It is unusable.
The same applies to the free internet in the hotel. It is also unusable. Instead, buy 5e internet card to get 60 (or 90) min of OK internet, and use it wisely.
