I had high hopes for this unique old school property. The neighborhood is upscale, walkable, and felt safe.
Not the most friendly checkin, wasn’t looking for best friends but a bit more pleasant would have been nice. It was great that there is parking below the hotel, and sort of exciting to navigate the tight spaces to get into auto elevator. Unfortunately the beds were hard as a rock, and the room, with a lovely balcony, faced a busy street with intermittent motorcycles, sports cars, loud trucks etc all through the night. I probably won’t book again cause there’s other hotels in the neighborhood that look a bit nicer and quieter.
