The hotel has old world charm in its decor and is full of character, with spacious air conditoned rooms full of antique furniture, the whole idea is to give you that Hacienda experience. The gardens are beautifully laid out and the pool is secluded and relaxing with the addtion of a hot tub and sauna, should you want to indulge.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Dinner is well prepared and presented, however the menu is a little quirky, with at the time of my visit, not a lot of traditonal cusine. Breakfast is buffet style, again plentiful, with one or two hot items a little strange for breakfast menu.
A small issue was the air conditioning in the room which was very poor, mainly because the unit had not been cleaned and I suspect not been serviced in some time.
Overall a very nice hotel and I would certainly go back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and location
Recommended rooms for me would 14,15 or 16, the rooms in the grounds look to be a little dark, however I guess they will also be cool in the summer heat because of this.
