We really looked forward to our visit to the Jardin Escondido de Coppola and I did a lot of research before booking this hotel. We love small, boutique properties and this one looked like it was rather high end, in a nice part of town and got some good reviews. Unfortunately my fiancée and are were very disappointed by our stay here and there were some basic services of the hotel (warm water and heating) that we did not receive which made feel like we were overcharged and ultimately made us unhappy with our decision to stay here.
When we arrived at the hotel, our room was cold when we arrived so we immediately tried to turn on the heat. The first 30 minutes of our stay here were spent on a chair trying to fiddle around with the air conditioning / heater unit and remote to try and get it to work - to no luck. We went downstairs and asked for the help from the concierge who promised to look into it, tried to help but was unsuccessful. We had no heater for the duration or our stay, luckily it wasn't too cold those nights!
When we got back to our cold room and jumped into the shower we found the water to be lukewarm at best and the pressure kept disappearing. It was not the relaxing shower that we had in mind. Since we had no heater, we got out of the shower trembling from the cold water and the cold air. My fiancée was very upset and frustrated and I immediately went down to the concierge to voice our complaints - but there was no resolution
