The place to choose in Baarle Nassau/Great food
This is the Hotel / Brasserie of the famous picture of the table just near the border beetween NL and BE. Very nice place to stay. Food is marvellous, wonderful. Try the chicken with ratatouille and the irish beef. Quite short beer menu, but 5/6 references of the local world class brewery "Dochter van der Korenaar", try them all. Staff is quite helpful, especially younger ones. Senior staff look like don't like changes on the go (e.g., when deciding to have breakfast in the morning without having booked it). Beds have room for improvement, not proper mattress for many days, too soft. Rooms and bathrooms are quite big. Place is a bit noisy, especially if there is any private event in the venue, but at 21:00 silent is absolute. Stairs are a handicap and can be a stopper for people with reduced mobility (no lift I noticed)
Bottom line: great location, nice rooms, excellent food, not for handicapped customers. Will repeat.
