We were attracted by the restaurant, which was certainly good, and their wine list excellent.
Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room, during temperatures of up to 30C, was over-enthusiastic; when it was running it created a cold breeze, to avoid which it was necessary to sleep under the duvets - and boil. There was an impersonality about the hotel which probably focused on its profitable restaurant, but the evening's waitress gave the impression she'd rather be anywhere but there.
