I regretted having chosen the hotel for the following 3 reasons:
1. The first and the worst is that you are made to feel unwelcome. To the hotel, and to some extent even to the country. That is because the hotel staff rudely claimed the policy was to throw away all you might leave outside your room because those are public places!!! I never got to corroborate whether those really were the policies because the manager made themself unavailable. I forgot my all natural shower products in the shared bathroom as I was in a hurry to my Congress, and they were claimed to be thrown away, without prior notice or a chance to get them back at least during the following 24 hours. I was provided with tiny commercial shampooing instead, which I bad a skin reaction to. Awful.
2. I stayed for 6 nights and the bathroom was cleaned only once in that time, and the rest of the days we got long black hairs hanging on the shower walls for days. The shower was clogged, accumulating dirty water.
3. The noise of a trash track picking and compressing stuff just below my window at 2 and 5 a.m. also made my sleep difficult (I was travelling form America with a 13 hour time use difference, so this did not help to adapt at all).
After all, I also understood I had missed on the beautiful views from higher hotels, which is rather a piece of advice to other travelers: some additional financial effort is well worth it as the views on the city are awesome (nothing like the view of a wall I got).
