Unfortunately, we arrived during a storm and check-in is located in a building across the street. We had to walk back and forth twice in the downpour. Our clothes were soaked and muddy by the time we got in our room. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. However, to say the room is too small is an understatement. The bed is pushed against one wall and you have to duck under/around the television sticking out of the wall to get in the bed. An average size adult has to sit sideways on the toilet so your knees do not hit the sink. You can tell that some of the room was recently renovated, but not all. It has a kitchenette, table and chairs and dresser in it. Though I can appreciate what they tried to do, it is much too small of a space for all they have in it. There are some that may enjoy the quaintness of this particular room, but it should come with a disclaimer and be priced accordingly. That being said, we were in room #5 and it was detached from the main building. The other rooms appeared to be significantly larger. The location is great, staff is friendly and the hotel provides wonderful amenities such as bikes and a grill. Despite our experience, I would recommend staying here as long as it is not room #5.
