First time in my life, and I travel a lot, that I left a place immediately after I got to my room. My room wreaked of cigaret smoke, and the apology waa that they thought the cleaners have cleaned it. What?? My colleague's room was ás sub-standard. The sign outside shows 4-stars, which must be brought under the attention of the grading council, as thát is far from the truth.. One would expect at least the same quality accommodation, matresses, pillows, freshness and cleanliness, as in other venues, advertised in the same categories. The garden and other features are nothing, as advertised. What to do? Can hotels.com assist in claiming our money back, as this was not me cancelling two rooms without a reason. There is NO way that I would feel comfortable or safe staying there. We were even advised by a staff member to park our cars further down, as it would be safer???
