Was not impressed with the staff. Breakfast was excellent. However, once when there were no forks and I asked, you got the reaction like we were inconveniencing them to go get more. Hard to eat eggs without a fork. 1st night pool was open but we were too tired to go but 2nd day, pool was closed with sign and chair blocking the door. I asked lady at front desk if it might be open later and she said, “I don’t have a clue.” I asked if she knew the problem and same answer. Pool & hot tub were reason we chose this motel. Next evening, pool was still closed and I asked a different attendant at front desk and got the same response! Didn’t have a clue why it was closed. Don’t these people talk? One of main enmities for property and no one knows why it’s shut down? Coming up on last day of our 3 night stay, I asked the front desk attendant “if” we could have a late check out the next day of 11:30 because we were attending church and it wasn’t over till 11:00 which was check out time. She acted like she had never been asked that before and finally asked which room. I told her and she wrote 105 on a yellow sticky and no note for what 105 was for and the said, “They shouldn’t charge us for being 30 minutes late.” “Shouldn’t” was the key word. Next morning before leaving for Church, I mentioned to the two cleaning ladies we would be leaving our room at 11:30 and the attendant had said was ok. Her response was, “Checkout time is 11:00.” She didn’t understand English. Checked out at 8:30!!
