Awful. Had to leave after first night. Not a secure building at all. No curtains on window so you can either shut wooden blinds ( no light at all ) or everyone can see in. And the NOISE! Not from outside which is minimal but INSIDE. In reception checking in, I could hear full conversation of other guests inside their room. Was woken up 3 times during the night by guests coming in - twice into the “ hotel “ not because they were particularly loud but the state of the building , and once to an apart above where I was also an unwilling listener to a very clear private conversation. Staff were so arrogant and dismissive . Cold water in my shower after 5 mins so couldn’t wash my hair when I told them they accused me of running the water for 30 mins before I got in the shower. I moved a mirror because there was no way to use a hair straightener near a mirror - which despite me checking out after one night instead of 3 was the only point of apparent interest to the staff. If this is your only possible option in Rome - go to another city. I’d score it 1 out of 10.
